iLab Solutions Conducts their Second Annual Core Facility Benchmarking Survey, January 2012
iLab Solutions is excited to roll out their Second Annual Core Facility
Benchmarking Survey. The final report generated based on the responses to this
survey will help academic research institutions visualize how their core facilities compare to
their peer set and identify where there may be opportunities for improvement.
To make this study as informative as possible iLab has asked core facilities at over 60 academic institutions to complete the survey as well as listed the survey on various academic listservs. Facility-specific data will be kept confidential, but aggregated responses will be used to capture a snapshot of common patterns and “best practices” across institutions. This data will be shared with the academic community as a pro bono service.
